**Due to stay-at-home orders, Folk School Jams are temporarily suspended. We encourage you to join our new "Saturday Sessions" offered each Saturday at 11:00 AM on the Folk School Facebook page. Folk School instructors will be instructing on various subjects. Free to join in, no Facebook account necessary.

Folk School jams are a great way to spend a weekend afternoon. Musicians of all skill levels come together to play and enjoy music under the guidance of a Folk School instructor. Regularly scheduled jams include old-time fiddle tunes and bluegrass, and student jam. Jams are free and open to the public. Participants take turns leading songs and choosing tunes. These informal gatherings are a great way to get back to the basics and simply enjoy playing.  Join in!
