**Country Chicken Pickin will be offered as a 6-week online course using the platform Zoom. Instructions for using Zoom will be sent upon registration**

This class will be a new addition as it is one of the Folk Schools' first electric guitar courses. The class will cover the beginnings and evolution of county telecaster players ala James Burton, Roy Nichols, Brent Mason, etc. Specific techniques to be taught include hybrid picking, bending, pedal steel effects, and double stops. Tab and video will be provided for each lesson. Special attention will be paid to the Bakersfield sound era of Buck Owens.
