Folk School Students,

There is no higher priority than the health and safety of our Folk School participants. We have changes to share for the Folk School in light of the developing COVID-19 situation.

We are carefully monitoring the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention’s (CDC) COVID-19 webpage and have been following local healthcare systems’ advice and guidance for community-facing organizations and workers.

All events at the Folk School are canceled through April 30. This includes jams, square dances, lessons, workshops, and concerts.

Our Spring Session start date has been pushed back until April 6 and we will evaluate next week to see if we need to postpone further.

We can’t overstate the importance of music in our lives. What's most important is the safety and security of ourselves, our neighbors and our loved ones.

We will do our best to stay on top of this quickly evolving situation and to communicate additional changes at Folk School.

Sincerely,

The Folk School of KDHX Team
