Jim Ryan: 

I am a product of the Folk School.  Although I think I’m a good teacher, I think of myself primarily as a student.  If I have any “claim to fame” it’s that I have done workshops with…drum roll please…Bob Carlin, Brad Leftwich, Ken Perlman, Dan Gellert, Paul Brown, Reed Martin, Chris Coole, John Herrmann, Bruce Molesky, Cathy Barton Para, Cathy Fink, Adam Hurt, Tom Sauber, Mac Benford, Joe Newberry, Mac Traynham, Michael Miles, Molly Tenenbaum, and Howie Bursen.  These workshops have taught me about both playing and teaching.
